WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

WORKING WOMEN WEDNESDAY

Today we would like to recognize Hadiatu Dumbuya as our Working Woman Wednesday. It’s because of women like her, we are inspired to appreciate life and everything it has to offer. If we could define what an inspiring woman is, one could state: An inspiring woman is a woman who can fill someone with the urge to do something worthwhile. She believes in herself and believes in others. With those two beliefs is a lot of hard work. When she speaks of her ambitions, it is with great passion, optimism and enthusiasm. Hadiatu Dumbuya has pushed herself and is helping others to create a better world. She truly cares about everyone she meets, challenging them to stick with what they love while becoming the best version of themselves.

Hadiatu Dumbuya has been a professional in the sports industry for over nineteen years. Aside from playing collegiate soccer at Butler University, she also played in the W-League as a Semi-Professional for four years. Hadiatu began working in the player development department for the Indianapolis Colts during her sophomore year of college where she realized her passion to enhance the lives of professional athletes. She continued to work within the Colts organization until she acquired her Bachelor of Science from Butler University in International Business. After obtaining her degree, Hadiatu ventured to work for the NFL Europe where she extensively worked in the Operations Department for training camp. Her time at the NFL was cut short when Hadiatu accepted a position to work for Robert Porcher, III (retired Detroit Lion) as an Executive/Personal Assistant. During her five years within Robert Porcher III, Hadiatu learned the essentials of running a business. After gaining much experience and learning her true passion, she then formed HDC Management and now consults with athletes, artists and small business.

Hadiatu also works with an exclusive vacation club as a social entrepreneur, allowing her to do the two things that she loves the most: helping people and travel. She is an international trainer for her company and has hit the most prestigious level of International Marketing Director, so she empowers people to live life to its maximum capacity while traveling the world. She co-authored a book with a retired NFL player about business and plans to tour sharing her secrets on wealth building. She is also very active in the community. Hadiatu volunteers extensively with the National Kidney Foundation, Banco Group and We Are One Community. 7 years ago, Hadiatu gave her brother the gift of life when she donated her kidney to him. In Hadiatu’s spare time she likes to work out, play soccer, travel the world and spend time with her family.
