Women Empowerment

Today we are recognizing the ladies of Elite Women Organization as our working Woman’s Wednesday. It’s because of the organization and businesses within EWO, women are encouraged to build each other up, becoming entrepreneurs and role models having a positive impact on the communities they live in. Carol Dorsey, the founder and President of Elite Women Organization (EWO) had a vision. She knew that with the right business sense and support, women could work together and become not just successful business owners, but also community advocates and positive role models to Detroit’s youth. Carol was so committed to her vision. She sought out and handpicked women who share the same positive vision and was willing to work diligently to build lasting relationships with communities. On April 13th, 2019 she founded Elite Women Organization, creating a team of businesswomen who believe in empowering women. Elite Women Organization goals are to rebuild impoverished communities. We strive to obtain a secure, functional environment where working families can thrive. Through affiliations and tireless efforts, we collaboratively work with Public Schools to ensure that schools remain open in disadvantaged areas by working with non-profit organizations. We strive to build strong working relationships with Small Independent Businesses and Organizations to revitalize low income neighborhoods to increase revenue opportunities. Elite Women Organization also offers a host of services and resources for nonprofit organizations, businesses, and the community. The women of EWO are leaders in the community working hard and is dedication to helping our communities. We are happy to announce that on Tuesday March 3rd 2020 Elite Women Organization is being honored for an outstanding achievements and service to the citizens of Detroit and will receive the Spirit of Detroit Award, given by Detroit City Council President Brenda Jones.
