MEN MASTERING SUCCESS MONDAY

Today we would like to recognize Robert Jamerson, CEO of Detroit PAL. It’s because of leaders like you, we make it our mission to be a positive influence to everyone we meet.

Robert Jamerson joined the Detroit Police Athlete League (PAL) team as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in 2018. He recently was promoted to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in July 2019. Robert is a former PAL participant, coach, and consultant. Robert spent more than 20 years working for corporations, such as Pfizer, Inc., before joining the non-profit sector. He has held leadership positions in sales, management, marketing, operations, and training, which makes him the perfect candidate to oversee the operations of Detroit PAL.

Robert is a native Detroiter who grew up playing in Detroit PAL. He attended St. Martin Deporres High School, where he was a star student athlete. Robert continued on to Northwood University where he received his Bachelors Degree in Marketing/ Management and Associates Degree in Accounting. During his time at Northwood, he lettered in football and baseball. Robert returned to complete his MBA in 2014.

Robert has always stayed connected to the community through mentoring, volunteering, leadership training, business consulting, and life coaching. He is excited to be able to be fully committed to helping Metro Detroit’s youth find their greatness by focusing on the after the game life skills.

Detroit PAL offers 11 different sports programs, as well as youth enrichment opportunities, including FIRST Robotics, Team Up, Broadcast Training, Financial Literacy, Youth Empowerment Workshops, and the Youth Voice Council. To learn about Detroit PAL, visit https://detroitpal.org
